NetSuite Tips & Tricks: Make the Most of NetSuite's New Release

If you are a current NetSuite user, you have probably noticed a message on your home screen about NetSuite’s new release that will be rolling out soon.  NetSuite typically releases an update twice a year – once in the Spring and once in the Fall. Current NetSuite users will be automatically updated sometime in March and your specific upgrade date will be shown in the new release message window, similar to the notice below: 

This new release has some exciting changes in store including the ability to:

  • Tailor GL Processes with SuiteGL Modify the General Ledger impact of transactions to accommodate different accounting standards and practices, and create Custom Transaction Types to track industry or company-specific processes.
  • Optimize Purchasing Reduce company spend and implement more efficient procurement by using Multi-Subsidiary Vendors, Per-Subsidiary Vendor Credit Limits, RFQs, Blanket PO Approvals, and more.
  • Run Projects More Effectively Manage projects more efficiently and profitably using the Resource Allocation Grid and enhanced Project Profitability Reports.
