Additional New Release Resources

We are quickly approaching the cutover date for NetSuite’s release 2014.2 and there is no better time than the present to prepare. As we mentioned in a previous post, The Vested Group has put together a series of resources to help current NetSuite users transition to the new release of NetSuite rolling out over the next couple of weeks.

Last week we shared a SuiteScript Planning  Chart from NetSuite describing improvements and recommended actions you can take if you have used SuiteScript to customize NetSuite.  Testing any customizations you have made within NetSuite is one of the most important things you can do to prepare for the update. Today we are directing current NetSuite users to a set of new feature training videos posted in the Learning Center of NetSuite’s SuiteAnswers site.  Users can navigate to these videos by following these steps:

• Log onto your NetSuite account and click on the Support tab
• Click the SuiteAnswers Link
• Click on the Learning Center Link at the top-left corner of the SuiteAnswers page
• On the Leaning Center page, use the left-hand navigation to select 2014.2 New Feature Training

Once you navigate to the 2014.2 New Feature Training video library, you will find that there are 2 pages of content.  You may scroll through the page arrows to browse all 19 available videos.  Here you will find videos that cover topics such as a general overview of NetSuite’s new look, Work Order Completion Validation Enhancements, Invoice Billing and Training, as well as Backward Scheduling for Manufacturing, UPS Item Fulfillment Enhancements and many others.  Take a moment to read through the list of available videos and select any that pertain to your business processes to view.  The list of videos started at 12 and now is close to 20 so NetSuite may be adding more content as the release date approaches.
